Daniele Bruno
Daniele BrunoR & D
B.Sc. in Naval Architect with thesis work on parametric optimization of hull shape through numerical simulations driven by variation algorithm. He gained a great experience in experimental fluid dynamics thanks to the internship in the towing tank at the laboratory of University of Naples “Federico II”, performing tests on planning hulls and propellers. He performed several resistance and sea-keeping simulations by the most important C.F.D. software (commercial and opensource) working for MICAD as adviser Montecarlo Yachts and Bénéteau Group.
He has expanded his activities as numerical analyst, in structural field, performing F.E.M. analysis on composite materials using commercial and opensource codes.
He has a collaboration with Nautech magazine, as a writer, for articles on hydrodynamic optimization of naval surfaces.
At the moment he follows, for MICAD, R&D activities collaborating with several companies and international institutions.
